A Renaissance castle like no other, Uhuburg is a philosophical, food producing, naturalistic, and celebratory place located outside the Alpine, Bavarian City of Helen, Georgia.
Uhuburg is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With castle walls to wander, towers to climb and philosophical murals to contemplate, the castle awaits you. Spend the day exploring the grounds or stay in a castle chamber for an unforgettable and enchanting experience!

Day Visits and Chambers are closed in January.
Spring Day Visit tickets are currently available for most Saturdays from February 14 through April 25. Please see our ticket calendar for specific dates available. Availability is added on a rolling basis.ā
Spring overnight chamber bookings are open on Wednesday through Saturday nights from February 4 through mid March. Overnight stay is for guests 18 year and older, breakfast is included and reservations have a two night minimum. Availability is added on a rolling basis.

Bundle up and enjoy the castle grounds, walls and towers, visit unique vendors for dynamic goods, enjoy the performances and fill up with a hearty turkey leg (vegan and gf options available too!) at Uhuburg Castle from Jan 16 though 18th, 2026.
