Swordsmanship Workshops & Demos
2026 Dates: May 23 & 24, June 27 & 28, July 25 & 26, Sept 5 & 6, and Nov 21 & 22
Try your hand at Medieval Swordsmanship with Appalachian Sword Club!
Join us for a dynamic and exciting experience in the Medieval art of swordsmanship through the lens of historical manuscripts with Danial and Ash! Hosting a series of mini workshops throughout the day, they will do demonstrations, discuss highlights of using the manuscripts, and provide hands-on experience with swords for interested participants. Danial and Ash work with local fencing clubs and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).
Demos & hands on opportunities run continuously through the day.

The Santa Brothers, Tattooed Santa and Santa Clint visited Uhuburg in 2024 & 2025 to hear all of the Christmas wishes. They are the sweetest days and we can't wait to host Father Christmas again in 2026!

Blackwater Bow & Swordsmanship
June 28, 2026
Nashville's Gator Curvin of Backwater Bow graced the castle grounds with live violin music on June 28th. She describes herself as rooted in southern soul and river song - Blackwater Bow plays the stories you won't forget. Guests enjoyed the double feature of swordsmanship and live music on this special day!
Library Day at the Castle & Swordsmanship

Uhuburg partnered with Northeast Georgia Regional Libraries for a FREE(!) entry day on June 27th for holders of a Northeast Georgia Regional Library card. It was a huge success!
Libraries in the Northeast Georgia Library system include: Clarkesville-Habersham County, Cornelia-Habersham County, Rabun County, Toccoa-Stephens County, Cleveland-White County and Helen-White County Public Libraries.

Join us for adults-only MIRTH & MISCHIEF shows running Fridays and Saturdays and family Fairy Frolic events each Sunday afternoon in the magical embrace of Uhuburg Castle, nestled in the scenic North Georgia Mountains.
Explore the full theatrical journey in a choose-your-own-adventure format across the castle grounds. From cirque-style acrobatics and live music to interactive storytelling and atmospheric effects, every twist and turn of this adults-only evening draws you deeper into the realm. Stay late for the Club Mischief afterparty featuring DJs and fire dancers until midnight! Costumes encouraged, not required.
The Story: An enchanted castle. A tormented prince. A realm where light is fading. Guided by the mystical Moon and Earth Goddesses, guests become part of a magical quest to restore joy and revelry before darkness takes hold. You don’t just watch the story—you live it.
