Hear swords clang across the castle grounds and witness a Medieval fencing tournament! Learn about Medieval fighting & cast your votes for who wins each bout. Hosted by Carolina Historical Fencing in South Carolina. Tournament participants are all members of CHF. See them on YouTube and Facebook!

Try your hand at Medieval Swordsmanship with Appalachian Sword Club!
Join us for a dynamic and exciting experience in the Medieval art of swordsmanship through the lens of historical manuscripts with Danial and Ash! Hosting a series of mini workshops throughout the day, they will do demonstrations, discuss highlights of using the manuscripts, and provide hands-on experience with swords for interested participants. Danial and Ash work with local fencing clubs and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).

The 2024 schedule is in the works! We look forward to hosting events such as seasonal festivals, creator workshops, family days and contra dances. As a place of learning, Uhuburg will offer workshops related to applications of philosophy, independence, nature, geology, and practical gardening.
