Welcome to Creator Day, a limited-ticket event that offers content creators extended access to Uhuburg for capturing stunning and imaginative photoshoots.
What's Included
Extended access to Uhuburg's 2 acres of gardens, castle walls, towers, and medieval architectural features

Catered lunch from A Matter of Taste:
Grilled chicken burrito bowl (GF and vegan option available) or
Turkey and cheese sandwich and fresh fruit
On site parking with shuttle service to castle entrance
Schedule
1 to 1:30 - Arrival
- Park in lower level parking lot and take shuttle up to castle entrance
- Check in
- Prep time in Great Hall
- Tables and chairs provided; Bring your own privacy tent
1:30 - Orientation
- Meet in Great Hall; attendance required
1:45 - Access to grounds
- Staff available to assist navigating grounds and opening and closing Red Gates for photo opportunities
- Uhuburg hosts up to eight overnight guests that may on the grounds
2:00 to 3:00 - Tropical Atrium open
7:30 - Pack up
7:45 - Meet at Red Gates for departure
- Take shuttle down to parking lot
Planning & Set-up
Arrival is strictly between 1:00 and 1:30
Get here at 1:00 and get a head start on prep! Shooting will begin after a brief meeting with all participants at 1:30.
Photo share
Be featured on Uhuburg social and our website! All participants will sign a Photo Release and we ask that at least 20 of your favorite edited shots are emailed to info@uhuburg.com within 2 weeks of the event.

Great Hall will be prepared as a prep space with:
Tables and chairs will be provided
Full length mirrors
Snack and coffee table
Four public restrooms
Water fountain
Costumes, Makeup, Wigs, etc:
Hair and Makeup must be done prior to arrival; on-site touch ups only.
Wigs can be put on while on-site.
NO plug in hot tools.

Photography equipment: tripod, battery chargers, etc

Protection from the elements: layers, umbrella, hat, sunscreen, bug spray
~ Check the weather forecast to inform necessary gear
No drones allowed
Location
Look for red and white flags marking our entrance
(flags are only out during open hours)
The castle is not visible from the road and we do not yet have permanent signage up. The driveway is on the South side of Ridge Road, about half a mile from either end of the road, and is also marked with a 571 mailbox. Look for red and white flags that will be marking out entrance. After turning in, slowly proceed through the green metal gates. Uhuburg staff will direct you to parking.
Weather
Tickets are non-refundable. Bring your preferred protection from the elements: layers, umbrella, hat, sunscreen, bug spray.
We are in the mountains and weather can change quickly in any direction, all of which provides interesting and beautiful settings. Rainy days are often accompanied by misty mountains and might make way for a rainbow... it's all part of the adventure.
